Melo out for Sunday’s game

DENVER POST — Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been ruled out of today’s game against the Spurs at the AT&T Center after going through some pre-game drills.

It means Anthony will miss his fourth straight game. Nuggets coach George Karl said Anthony wasn’t entirely comfortable with his ability to run and cut in a game that expected to be fast-paced. Barring any setbacks, the plan, Karl said, is to have the Nuggets’ leading scorer play in tomorrow night’s game against Sacramento.

It means Anthony will finish January having played just six of the possible 15 games.
